If you’re craving Home Cooked Meals with the kind of flavour that keeps you coming back, Rodo’s Pizza should be at the top of your list. I first wrote about their fantastic pizza about 8 years ago, and I’m happy to say — it’s still just as amazing today.

A Hearty Home Cooked Meal
On my latest visit, I ordered the Veal Cuttlets meal, and it was incredible. The meal came with rich gravy, a perfectly baked potato, fresh veggies, and creamy coleslaw. Everything tasted like a true Home Cooked Meal — comforting, filling, and full of flavour.
The meal also included:
- A starter salad
- Warm garlic toast
- Your choice of dessert — ice cream or rice pudding
I chose the rice pudding, and it was the perfect way to finish the meal.
Upgraded Greek Salad
I upgraded my starter salad to a Greek salad, and it was really good! Fresh vegetables, tasty dressing, and generous portions made it a great upgrade and a perfect pairing with the veal cutlets.
Pizza Soup – A Must Try!
We also ordered the tomato soup with pepperoni and mozzarella. It’s basically pizza soup in a bowl — rich, creamy, and loaded with flavour. If you love Deep Dish Pizza, you’ll love this soup. It has that same hearty, comforting taste. Everytime we are in the restaurant, there is a new soup of the day, all different and all good!
The Pizza Is Still Fantastic
We wrote about the pizza here four years ago:
I’m happy to report that the pizza is still fantastic today. Whether you’re ordering classic slices or something closer to Deep Dish Pizza, the flavour and quality are consistently excellent.
Excellent Service
The service at Rodo’s Pizza was excellent. Friendly staff, quick service, and a welcoming atmosphere made the entire dining experience even better.
